Dear Collector Clubs:

Now that the holiday season is over and you have put away your Village displays for another year, wouldn’t it be nice to look at what other collectors did with the same pieces at their house? Or enjoy a story about a collector’s quest to find the missing piece for their Village? Or learn a little more about one of your favorite lighted pieces. If you answered yes to any of these questions, we would like to invite you to visit the new and improved Collectors Corner on the Department 56 web site www.department56.com .

Our imaginary saws and hammers have been busy remodeling, changing and adding new features, new pictures and new games to a site we hope you’ll visit often.

We need your input in order to keep the site fresh and interesting. Here are things we are looking for:

• Spotlight on Clubs - We want to feature a club and need a story about your activities, special projects, and photos of the group

• Spotlight on Collectors - Here is your opportunity to share a story and photos of your display with other collectors

• Adventures in Collecting - Do you or a fellow collector have an amusing or interesting story about collecting? We’d love to hear it.

• Display Photos - Have you created an interesting seasonal vignette or display you know other collectors would enjoy?

• Display Tips - Share some of your great ideas with other collectors and other clubs.
