People's Choice Award Winners - David
Spears & Bob Richardson
It was a tie - the winners of the People's Choice Award were David
& Linda Spears & Bob Richardson. The voting public decided that it was
only fair to split the winning amount between the two so they each were
given $50.00. Bob then gave back his winnings and then challenged
the D56 collectors to donate what they could to the convention charity -
Kids Kicking Cancer. David did the same and with the audience
donations over $650.00 was raised in a matter of minutes.
At the end of the evening Chris Speedie of the Detroit 56er's and
Country Villagers of Flint, MI said that she would match the amount
raised. |
